The actual hand plates used in ANH were made from honey-colored latex, painted white, and glued on to the back of a pair of rubber chemical gloves. There are a few vendors for these, over at the FISD and MEPD. I use these when I troop as a TD myself; they do get hot, but with a pair of cotton gloves inside, it´s really not a problem. I actually find them more comfortable than having the hard plastic plates, as the latex ones will flex and bend as you move your hand.Banzai88 wrote:TE2--very nice.
