Hello everyone! My name is Collin.

At the moment, I'm actually putting together a Kylo Ren costume as my first 501st build, but I'm also researching other costumes I'm interested in as potential future builds.

I'm interested in OT Snowtroopers as well as First Order Snowtroopers. Im trying to get a good idea of how hard/expensive they are to make. I don't have any experience with making any armor ( I'm just starting to learn how to make soft parts myself) and I am leaning more towards DIYing as much as I can. Any help/info/tips would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Do you know of anyone that's created much of their Snowtrooper from scratch? I can't vacuum form but I wanna see how much of the costume I can make myself.

Thank you but it looks like SID vacuum formed his, which I can't do :/ (don't have space in my apartment for the things necessary) I might have to just get a kit when I have the money.

To buy a kit is a good idea, as you can see in the mentioned thread it's a lot of work to do a build from scratch.

May I ask how much the average kit costs? Or does it depend?

Welcome to the cold side of the Empire Collin! There are quite a few good vendors listed in the armor section. I usually say to contact a couple of them and get a quote, then ask opinions of those of us that have the armor that you get responces from. Ask twice, buy once! If there is anything we can help with just give a shout!!

I tried looking for the Vendor list last night but had trouble finding it

I saw a post saying that initially the list was taken down, but that recently it was put back up. I navigated through all of the categories and couldn't find it :/
