TK8456 (soon to be TS) says hello

Hello!
My name is John Danter and I belong to the UK Garrison.
I normally do a TK and also dress as the Grand Master P too.
It's not easy walking around with a cane and a prosthetic on all day. So I was looking for something snug and mean to wear and have just been lucky enough to purchase a complete snowtrooper from a moderator on the dented helmet (So I'm hoping it's good)

I enjoy making costumes so I missed out on that here and this is the first time I've ever bought a complete costume.
The kit arrives sometime this week and then I need to get it cleared by our GML.
Loving the site! I hope to pop on here more often to see how I can make improvements (to my costume) and have a chat with my snowy friends.
Be good
John

Cheers lads! Thanks for the frosty reception. I'm very sorry
One question. I notice on the backpacks there is text. Mine doesn't have any but where could I get these from?
Does anyone sell them as kit?

Hey lads.
Now then, please be as harsh as you like cos I want this to be as accurate and cool looking as I can possibly get it.
Here is me in my new snowie, straight out the box. No tweaks.
What do I need to do to this so it fits better and looks cool on 'me'
Here she blows. Please be harsh, I love it

cod needs 2 b trimmed, tighten your sleeves so they're less baggy, longer cowl, foam in your pouches so they fill out a bit. otherwise good 2 go.

Along the V of my inner thighs?
Shoulder bells needs raising maybe?

You asked for it...
You look fine as you are and would probably get a TS designation no problem. HOWEVER if you want to be uber accurate here's the problem areas from the top down:
-You helmet dome is inaccurate. The brow ridge isn't right and the dome shape resembles a TK more than a TS.
-Your cowl is too short and too glossy.
-Your ab plate and shoulders are a different color from the rest of your armor.
-Your forearms aren't trimmed correctly at the elbow.
-You don't have the plastic wrist covers.
-You don't have the 2 rivits in each side of the chest plate where the strap to the backpack attaches.
-The details in the box insert in the chest are wrong. The 2 black boxes you have should be grey, there should be a large black rectangle and 2 small square black outlines in the grey box above them and it looks like you painted your T-piece on instead of glued on a silver peice.
-I can't tell if your pouches are the right shape and/or attach correctly. They need to be padded out a bit, I can't tell if the fabric is right or not and their color seems a little off.
-The groin plate is totally inaccurate and over sized.
-I can't tell if you left the correct half inch indented section on the bottom edge of the knee plates or not.
-You need to remove the d-rings and laces from the boots.
Post pics of your backpack and thermal det and I'll continue.

I didn't want to get into it here but you can't have the laces in the stock style, There are some boots with laces but they still had the D-rings removed and a different lace setup

think it was faux laces held on by velcro).

No, that's all cool my friend. I've already changed the cowl and trimmed the forearms anyway.
I shall sort them out
Thing is I didn't do 'anything' to this costume. I cheated and bought the complete costume off another 501st member.
I've already noticed and changed a few things and plan to improve it here and there.....but reading that slating

I may as well ask folks for a new set of hard armour
