I still want to do a bit more weathering since what I have doesn't show up on pics very well. I'm just adding weathering in baby steps since I really don't want to look like I've bee following Taun Tauns around

Here are the pics:

Bucket on - 4 sides-

I fixed the crooked issues as well as tightened the chest armor so it doesn't stick out so much. I am also working on adding weights to the chest piece to counterbalance the weight of the backpack. This will keep the chest from riding up into my neck.

Here is a bucket off:

I am on Lord Vader's left side

Lets just say, having the only known TS in Arizona has been VERY rewarding

Awesome snowy! Welcome to the deployed ranks

Another suggestion to deal with your riding chestplate is to run a strap down to your codpiece. It will help hold everything in the proper position.

Well done! My only criticism would be your greys seem dark but overall an excellent build. 8)

I used Gunship Grey paint from Hobby Lobby. It was the medium grey of the color choices. It does look really dark like charcoal in the pics though.

Should I go lighter and re-shoot?

Only if you really feel like it. We don't to "elite status" or anything here so what you have is fine.

Nope...I'm going to walk in suited up on an event in Tucson on May 16th...

The ony members that know are the people that went to Starfest with me and my GML so I could get approved.

Secrets are fun, but I'm dying to redo my banner, add all my pics, and start talking snowie with others who I know will also want to get TS status.....let the recruiting begin

Sincerely,
Your desert dry-heat snowtrooper.

Steve,

Looks great. Can't wait to hear what the reaction is from your Garrison.
