Hello,
I've been a member of the 501st since this last April and have been very active locally with troops.
I currently have Navy Crewman/Tie Reserve, & Scanner Crew.
I'm almost done with my Navy Trooper and will be shortly finishing up my ATST Driver.
I plan on eventually doing a Tie Pilot.
After trooping this last weekend with a Snowtrooper, I was intrigued. I liked the costume and was happy that it wasn't full plastic, but comfortable pants and a good look. I'm interested in moving forward with working on a snowtrooper so my local area will have to and a nice alternate costume during the cooler months. I won't be wearing it outside in July.
I have become somewhat of my local groups table manager due to me have a separate Con-Bin full of table supplies, along with multiple items for display.
Besides trooping, I enjoy patch and coin collecting. I have incidentally started a flag collection too.

Welcome Firestine!
That's an impressive resume of costumes and collections you have!
Snowtroopers are comfortable being soft parts with partial armour over the top. You can even sit down! Helmet visibility is one of the main drawbacks though. And its a warm costume so best suited for warmer months.
We are all here to assist with questions and check out the recommended armour suppliers and a few build threads, like Captain Wardo's above - the link is there.
Good luck with your new project!
