Have a look at the CRL for the snowtrooper, and it is our most popular costume in Blizzard Force, so plenty of folk to help you on your way with sourcing items.

The Dan Laws kit looks great! There are a few vendors out there for the soft parts and the pants and gloves we found on Amazon. The mucklucks are the hardest to find, but we had pretty good luck on eBay. If I can help Ya at all just giv a shout and we'll get Ya going!!
