Hello, there! I'm Don, and I'm looking to build myself a classic Snowtrooper costume -- with the possibility of using it to join the 501st. Snowtroopers were always my favorite as a kid.
This costume will be a reward to myself for sticking to my goal of losing weight (40 lbs and counting since last September).

Hi Don
Welcome to the coolest detachment in the 501st!
You sure qualify coming from Manitoba...you could wear a snowie half the year?
At least you can get your Canadian army muckluk boots pretty cheaply.
We have a lot of helpful troopers here who can assist you with your build and being in Canada you're not far from a lot of suppliers.
Best of luck with your weight loss goal too! That is really impressive!
I'm Rach I'm part of BF command staff, if we can help you in any way do ask, and our other troopers can help with questions too.

Hey Don, welcome aboard. You've picked a great costume for someone who lives in Winterpeg I'm over in SK, Moose Jaw specifically. I look forward to hopefully trooping with you in the future.
