Welcome Mark! That's looking great (aside from the problems you know) and we've all done that the first time putting on a particular costume. First time I wore my Fett my shoulder armour was sticking straight out parallel to the ground....anime style!
Looking forward to seeing the finished kit!

Are you asking about how to go about joining the 501st? If yes you're already on your way!! You have a suit

Next go through our CRL ( Costume Reference Library ) and make sure you have all the required pieces in place and fitted well. Next you join your local Garrison or outpost. Have someone take your submission pics that are clear and in front of a clean background so your GML can give ya a good look over. If everything looks good he will clear you and you will get your TKID number. If he asks for a few mods then we can get ya fixed up. Once you get your ID number go out and start making people smile ( including yourself )!!!!!

Yes, you'll need to sign up to the UKG boards and submit it for clearance on there.
Welcome to the Detachment.

Yes mate it was. Found it through Facebook. Very pleased with it so far Bit worried about the boots and how long they will last though.

They are Giovanni's boots. Never seen a pair in the flesh myself, but have read good things about them.
Luckily, we in the UK don't have problems getting hold of either the Technica style moonboots that a lot of Commanders (and AT-AT Drivers ) use and even genuine 80's moonboots crop up fairly frequently on our Ebay.
So if the situation arises when they need replacing, it won't be a problem.
