Hello from a Galactic Marine in the UK

Hello all from the UK.
I've recently been cleared as a Galactic Marine (GM11976) and have been meaning to sign up and say hello!
I started with the UKGarrison many years back, with a Jedi outfit (thought it was just going to be a costumed spotter to look after the troopers).
Since joining the UKG and Rebel Legion I 've made good friends, seen people with some awesome skills, got a second family and done some amazing things.
I've also been lucky enough to have trooped at Elstree studios and met and worked with the actors from SW, which is always a great, but odd experience. (when you meet the stars and they become normal people, having a chat and a laugh)
The thing that give me the biggest buzz, however, is making money for charity and seeing the looks on the kids faces (both big and small).
Anyway, Its now great to officially be part of the 501st and meet yet more crazy and amazingly talented people!
Did my first troop as the Galactic Marine the other day at Legoland and absolutely loved it - Totally different experience to the jedi.
Crumbs - gone on a bit, sorry!

PS - just a note to the staff - I coudn't go through the sign up process on the ipad, due not being able to do the last bit with arranging the characters.
Just thought I'd mention it
