Checking in from Canada....again!

Hiya!

I see the first time I checked in was in 2006. Wow....didn't realize I'd had my kit for that long! I also didn't realize how long it's been since I was here (yikes)! So now that I'm officially retired from Legion Command I'm looking to spend more time on the Detachments and get my gear up to current standards.

Right now I'm working on a couple of Hunters for a con we have in 2 weeks. So if you find me rocking in a corner with some random armor part glued to my hair, be kind and make sure I don't dehydrate.

I think next on my list will be to upgrade the GM and redo my Snowie softparts. I'm also missing a few things that I need to add. I lost that bit that looks like a drum key - well - put it in a safe spot and clearly is safe from even me. I do that alot. And my cowl I sadly admit is taped in with masking tape. I don't wear my Snowie often and sort of forgot it was like that until I recently let someone borrow it. Oops! The GM is about as old as the Snowie.....2007 I think. Hmmmm.....yep, found the thread - October of 2007 I bought it. It's the only costume I ever bought already made and the last and I got totally lucky with it. It was a fabulous build - just needs some upgrades to get it with the current standards.

So there you have it! As soon as I'm done scrambling to get ready for this con, I'll be spending some time here reading through what I can do with my Snowie to make it all up to par!

Wow, 2006? That feels like forever ago! I'm happy to see you come back to us and that you are looking to upgrade your snowtrooper! Somethings may have changed since so don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it!

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. My gear, all of it, has suffered during my time on command. I just didn't have time! So between building the 8 bounty hunters I've been sitting on all of the parts for, I'll be taking apart the Snowie, GM and Scout one at a time to overhaul them. It's going to be one heck of a busy year but I'm enjoying having the time to do all of this!
