Matt from Virginia

[Winter Soldier]

The name is Matt Nichols from Winchester, Virginia. Former Marine, currently a computer tech and a art student. I love to draw and sculpt which may help me build some cool Star Wars pieces before too long. I have a lovely wife and 3 year old daughter which already has her Star Wars ABC book! I don't have a kit yet but thinking of building a TS sometime in 2013 possibly.

I went to NYCC this year, my first con, and was excited meeting the 501st there. What a great organization! I wish I had found out about this years ago. I had heard about them before and toyed with the idea of a TD but after weighing the pros and cons I am leaning toward a TB or TS now. I look foward to learning from all of you and getting to know you over the coming months.

Welcome, and I was at nycc. I probably met you as I was either running the shoot-a-trooper booth or the table. I had the gunner costume. It's always good to see more people doing a TS as this part of the east coast doesn't really have any.
