Hello From South Carolina

Post by Foxbow »

Hey folks, i just wanted to drop in a say hello and thanks for updating my access. Snow troopers are one of my favorites as a kid so naturally i want to be one of them too. I finally accomplished my long time wish to join the 501rst this year and now i am a proud member of the 501rst legion and the Carolina Garrison.

I am just about done upgrading my Scout "as if i will ever be satisfied" and are looking into my next project. Yeah why did anyone tell me this was all so addictive.

So i will be poking my head in and out of here for the coming months until the funding for my next project comes together. Thanks again and i look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome dude :)

Enjoy the coolest detachment in the legion :)
You don't go out looking for a job dressed like that do you? On a weekday?
Is this a, what day is this?

Hello everyone, thanks for the welcomes. Since armor is the easiest thing "just need money and patience" i have been working on some of the smaller or more difficult items.

Received my "mucks" and i am a little undecided on whether to exchange them. They are my normal size but the inserts are just a little too small so i thought i would just buy some slip on type shoes to wear in there place. Or i could up size and wear the provided wool inserts, or go down a few sizes and don't worry about the inserts. i want to have a spare anyway so just trying to get a feel for comfort.

Already have pants, gloves, just saving up for the armor.

Did have another question. For Cannon events, does a TS have to be clean? Not sure which way to go in hat department. My TB is clean but i kinda like the realism of the dirty TS. Any thoughts from you guys would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome. Been through your town many times as I used to live in the South.

I would suggest doing what you feel would suit you best :)
