Blizzard Force

Firstly thanks to Bro. Snow 2-1C for approving me the Blizzard Force Deployed Snowtrooper status that I've been aiming for. I've actually put together these set of pictures in preparation for this thread upon receiving my Official TS - Trooper Snow designation in the 501st Legion on November 6, 2007 (a month after I made my debut trooping in this costume ) ...and now on with the pics!

as the ACTUAL Snowtrooper Commander who appeared very briefly with General Veers and the AT-AT Drivers in this screen cap do have the "nipple"




I will always use this picture as my benchmark :



for further upgrades to my Snowtrooper Commander costume to get it as screen accurate as possible.

Rank Badge

I've just sent my existing Rank Badge to our 501st friend to have it cut & drilled so that the completed result will look something like jd pilot's badge :

Gloves

Will getting this fine pair of gloves in due time. 'nuf said




DL-44 Blaster

just received the necessary specs that I need to convert and modify my Vintage Kenner Han Solo blaster to closely resemble this Snowtrooper Commander prop piece :



and probably this prop was used. Replica as shown :




Lenght of Duster

I'll be sending it to my talented seamstress to shorten about 2" of the hem so that its lenght will correctly match the actual Snowtrooper Commander costume




Thermal Detonator

I'll be replacing this one that came with my FX-TK kit and use the more accurate from the LAWS kit. I'll probably cannibalize the White Plastic part for the Mortar Launcher for my TD Backpack, if I need to scratchbuild it.


..and if there are any other areas that need further improving, I'll appreciate your valuable inputs.

Indeed I look like you guys, aren't we supposed to Cold Weather Clone Commanders from Kamino?

the only thing i´m not realy happy is that we could only bring one costume to the member roster
if you have a snowtrooper + a commander costume you have to say wich one you like to show

and even other categories like BH and DZ has similar problems

Bros & Sis of the Snow, I've posted this thread, Snowtrooper Commander costume (Blizzard Force deployed) under the Costuming section of the main 501st HQ forum to promote this costume. Hopefully this will encourage some more 501st members to become Snowtrooper Commanders and JOIN us at the Blizzard Force Detachment.

Yeah I agree, for example my good friend ID 5776 from the 501st Singapore Garrison can't show both of his Imperial Commander and General Veers costume in his 501st membership profile.

We can only ask ...So I have done that right now.... But I think they will still say its only a TS....
