How so ?Banzai88 wrote:Looks so familiar....
I brought my first set 5 years ago. It sat in a box for 3 years. Then DL told me he had done heaps of upgrades to his armour moulds. So I sold my old one and brought a new one. It took me another 2 years to finish it because I have about $250 a year to spend on this hobby.Banzai88 wrote: Nice job! Why 2 DL kits?

Nice one Bro. I had never thought about it before. They are velcroed on. I'll take them off and trim them.Banzai88 wrote:TE2--very nice. It's looks like the hand plates have excess material around the edges to be trimmed. Is that the way they are supposed to look?
The actual hand plates used in ANH were made from honey-colored latex, painted white, and glued on to the back of a pair of rubber chemical gloves. There are a few vendors for these, over at the FISD and MEPD. I use these when I troop as a TD myself; they do get hot, but with a pair of cotton gloves inside, it´s really not a problem. I actually find them more comfortable than having the hard plastic plates, as the latex ones will flex and bend as you move your hand.Banzai88 wrote:TE2--very nice.
